My Miami or JF Crazy....

Got this chalice from a reputable member over a year ago. It was a small frag. It has grown out nicely but I forgot which JF chalice it is. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. :)

From that pic looks like a My Miami, the CF usually has a more reddish center than blue.

I'd say my Miami as well hard to tell from the pic but agreed with above

They look really similar at that size. It's really hard to tell. I would have said Crazy Fox due to the color of the eyes. But these two chalices can look different under different lighting. Either way, good growth!!! : )

Very hard to tell at that size. I agree that it looks more like the MM but I also see some crazy fox qualities in it as well. Like previously mentioned these two corals can look vastly different from one system to another. Simply saying the crazy fox has more purple/reddish base isn't really a fair indicator since the MM can do the same. For example JOse Casa's My Miami colony is anything but blue based...his is more of a crazy bright purple to me.

Thanks everyone for the replies. The person that I got it from got both the CF and MM frags at the same time and over time they kind of got mixed up. He thought this was the CF but was not sure. Thanks again.

I would guess mm but agree with everyone above... I had a frag of both side by side and couldn't tell a difference...:tongue:

Is it a relatively fast grower for you? cf is known to be a slow grower compared to mm. Jose told me the only difference is the cf has green in the eye but the mm can develop green in the eye when its forming. same shizzz to me even though they truly are different
