Hi all! I’ve been in the hobby for about 8 months now and started out with a 36/46G tank (I got it used so not sure which one haha).
I learned a lot along the way and my biggest mistakes were starting up. A LFS near me revealed that they were closing down today, and everything was 50% off. So I ran in there with my parents and we picked up a 90G and some equipment. Fortunately this time around I know what I am doing.

The things shown here are Christmas presents from both my parents and my aunt. In another post I will discuss my plans, including stocking, equipment, etc.
For now, I’d like opinions on what color I should paint the back! I did light blue on my other tank, I’m thinking black for this one.

I chose to use a blackout window film on the back of my tank. Got it off Amazon for about $25. Name on the box is Buy Decorative Film, and if I recall correctly, that's the name it goes by on Amazon.pretty simple to install and sticks quite well once it sets.

Here is what I’m thinking for fish.
1 Yellow Coris Wrasse
1 Blue Star Leopard Wrasse
1 Yellow Eye Kole Tang
2 Maine Mocha Ocellaris Clowns
1 Starry Blenny
3 Carberryi Anthias
2 Banggai Cardinalfish
1 Diamond Watchman Goby

As far as equipment goes, this.
Eshopps ADV 100 Sump
Sicce Syncra 3.5 Return
2 Hydor Koralia 1650 GPH
2 Hydor Koralia 1950 GPH
2 MarsAqua LED (Hope to upgrade to two Hydra 26HD eventually)
Eshopps S-120 Protein Skimmer
Cobalt Neotherm 300W Heater

DT should have about 60 pounds of rock and I’m going to use a block of MarinePure in the sump as well as a refugium. Not sure what light I’m going to use yet.

Let me know what you guys think of my plan so far!
