you'd hate mine if it's a noise issue.New cade
No, but it's a really annoying sound
I don't mind the regular tank sounds, it's the gurgling and slurping type sound that gets me... Similar to the sound of people chewing....you'd hate mine if it's a noise issue.
I don't much notice stuff like that.
24/7 white noise (what ever that big word you and Dole was tossing around earlier)
years of amplified guitars, rockin' with headphones and shotguns.
So the pipes do their thing and they're fine, but the return is literally sucking water back into the sump well after the regular overflow pipes are done unless I turn the nozzle above the water surface.i googled, think only way is put in check valve??
how about ping pong ball on top off pipes when you do changes.. ???
drill a 1/8" hole in the return so it sucks air sooner.So the pipes do their thing and they're fine, but the return is literally sucking water back into the sump well after the regular overflow pipes are done unless I turn the nozzle above the water surface.
When it gets to the point that it's touching air in the tank it sends bubbles with the water until it's fully above the water line.. Will a small hole still work?drill a 1/8" hole in the return so it sucks air sooner.
this what I've read to do to prevent overflowing the sump.When it gets to the point that it's touching air in the tank it sends bubbles with the water until it's fully above the water line.. Will a small hole still work?
Trying to think about the plumbing on the 90.... There *was* a hole drilled in that one if I recall correctlythis what I've read to do to prevent overflowing the sump.
let me go find it.
