The question is do I need to feed it as I dont want it to shrink and disappear like the last one I had a few years ago.

If the first picture is before and the second is now, it has extended its polyps. While they dont need food and get most of what they need from light, you can feed it phytofeast or oysterfeast.

Thanks, I have some Reef Phytoplankton and was thinking of reef roids. Or would that be overkill. I have never seen phytofeast or oysterfeast in the shops.

You can always order direct if you don't have an LFS that carries us. Send me a message if you have any questions.

They attain nutrition from lighting converting zooanthele into food source
