Been working on this tank for about 3+ years, heck I've been doing plumbing for 2 yrs. 200G 72"x28"x24". Just finished the plumbing this past weekend. Finally getting close. Thought I'd post something locally for y'all. Several local reefers have come by for corals over the year and have seen glimpses.

Just have to hydro test, fix any leaks, aquascape, and fill with salt H2O. Probably only another 2 yrs.......

Here are a couple pics from my 75G

dang dude! Nice pipes lol
Haha, thanks, like I said, took me 2 yrs to run it. Hope nothing leaks
Awesome. Exactly what I want to do. Run pipe to the basement and keep the sump down there (and get a bigger one)
So much room to work on the sump!! Does mean some extra $$ for a pump that can handle the head pressure (or 2 in my case).

here is a FTS of my current 75G

That looks awesome. Let me know if you scrap any of the coralline alage off. I'd love to get some to help seed my tank along faster.

Showing off again. I tell you what, if I ever decide to go the SPS route I know who I'm going to hit up for some frags. That space invader is pretty nice looking also.

I don't know if my wife would be more annoyed with that big of a tank, or that big of a tank sitting empty for that long :p

I always refer to your set up when I talk about my dream tank. Always checking back here to see if you put anything in it yet...

haha, that's why I ended up getting that @ReefWeeds painting to fill the space..........
Also, she knows when it's up and running it will be bleeding $$$$$$ putting corals in there.........

Thanks for the compliments.

What time is it? GAME TIME!!
Not only SEC football but time to scape the tank. Just waiting on a big bottle of super glue from BRS which better freaking get here today.
Lots of saltwater standing by

So glue didn't get here till Monday. So much for "priority" mail. Got some help from my artist wife, and spent most of the day arranging and rearranging (and forgetting where we had stuff) and finally the finished product.

Added about 250G of salt water to it (really nice to have a DC return pump in the basement so I could slowly pump it up). Been running a couple days now. Threw a couple silver sides in to get some NH3 going. Never thought I'd get here....

tweaked the scape a little, added some height to the right side. Been running pretty smooth, skimmer starting to settle down, all parameters say "cycled". Been sticking some silver sides in the filter socks to generate ammonia, but have yet to see any.

Haven't really been running the lights until I get some fish in there, waiting on my first to get sourced and quarantined. Nice to see the pods all over the glass when I do hit the lights.

Cleaned up the MP40WQD controllers and installed the battery backup. Also ran aquabus cable up from the basement for a WXM module. Been playing with it, so far it’s a PITA. Just running the MP’s in local master/slave mode on reef crest. Pretty quiet.

Couple shots from the 75G
