This mornings project is complete!
Water change, new ChemiPure, fresh Carbon, glass clean (in and out) and UV lens cleaning.
Never had a Skunk Shrimp try to groom my arm hairs, until today that is.
While he was climbing all over my arm, “Mama” Clownfish must have bitten my hand a couple dozen times.
Corals are a little upset now. I did some shuffling around.

Gonna hit the LFS on Saturday as usual. This time, I’m on a mission! I want to pick up 4 or 6 frags of GSP. My plan is to have them cover my whole back wall. I’ll either remove the stems from the plugs and glue them directly to the glass or just place them in a frag rack and let them do their thing. I know GSP can get out of hand pretty quickly but I fiddle with the tank daily so pruning won’t be an issue.

Did my monthly remove, disassemble and cleaning of return pump and wave maker heads today. Amazing how much the flow gets diminished in just a month.
The Clowns are having a field day playing in the current. :p

Big score at the LFS this morning.
they only had 2 frags of GSP but they were both loaded with polyps so I took them both. $25 each! Mounted them on the back wall (circled in red) and waiting for them to open. Sorry, bad picture!
Also scored 3 Zoa frags, loaded with polyps. All the frags in that rack were 3 for $60 but he gave them to me @ 3 for $50. All opening up nicely.

So, it appears that when you buy new corals and have hermit crabs in your tank, it’s going to be days before you get to enjoy seeing all those new, beautiful polyps open. Every time I add a new frag or colony to the tank, the crabs feel the need to spend a few days grooming them.

Probe holder showed up today. Looks like I may not have to modify it. It already has two smaller holes that are for dosing tubes that I can use for my smaller probes ( temp & ground ).
Install later, I’ve got some other projects going on right now!

Just a small panic attack last night. After installing the probe holder yesterday, I never thought to check and see if all my readings were still on. About four hours had passed since I installed the probe and I looked at my pH monitor and it was reading 6.07, YIKES!!!!
Fish looked good, corals all polyped out, shrimp looked good.
Emergency?
Take a deep breath!
I looked at the probe for the pH monitor and the end cap was pushed on too far, blocking the holes for the water to enter.
Adjusted the cap and within 15 minutes, the monitor was reading 8.36.
:D

Great progress so fare, enjoyed reading your tread.
I bet the LFS is going to open 10 minutes early on Saturdays just for you. ;)
Thank You @attiland
I still have my share of little “glitches “ with it but I enjoy fiddling around with it daily.
My Wife thinks I should get rid of the Elephant Ear Mushroom. In her words, it’s “stupid” looking. The fact is, it gives me a daily quick view of how the tank is doing. When it’s huge first thing in the morning, I know my parameters are good. If it’s a little shriveled up, I’ll test the water and usually find that something is in need of adjustment. I test frequently but really judge water parameters by how happy everything is, including the fish.
