Did a 1 1/4” vinyl wrap on the lower edges of the front and (visible) side glass. I don’t really like to see into the edge of the sand bed.
Before and after shots.

Just finished reading your thread. Great looking tank. I got one for an early Christmas present. It was an upgrade from my 12x12 cube. It housed a lot of copodes, they would grow out and I would transfer them to my DT. I currently have 2 clowns and a scooter blenny. As for coral I have 1 BTA, RFA and a few loose pulsing Xenia. Now I really got to step up my game so it can look like yours, lol. Again, great job on the tank.

Picked up a nice colony of “Tutti Fruiti” Zoa’s this morning. 27 polyps for $100. It’s sitting on the frag rack now and they are almost all opened up. Waiting for the whites to ramp down to get a nice picture. Pretty jazzed about this colony!

More pods are going to take the plunge tonite at lights out. This will be my third and final (for now) seeding. Picked up live Phyto to feed today also.

Fingers crossed!
The Only algae in my tank besides coralline growth has been a bit of GHA on one of my frag plugs. My Rasta’s! I’ve been picking at it with tweezers since day one. I finally got tired of looking at it today and removed it from the tank and did a peroxide dip. 50/50 with 3% peroxide for 5 minutes.
Now I will be looking at them every 5 minutes to see when they bounce back!

The 50/50 peroxide ( 1/2 tank water and 1/2 3% peroxide ) is a good way to permanently kill GHA when you can’t fully remove it manually. Safe for Zoa’s as long as it’s kept to about a 5 minute dip. They usually will remain closed for a few days. They are opening already.
