educate me. why the peroxide dip?Fingers crossed!
The Only algae in my tank besides coralline growth has been a bit of GHA on one of my frag plugs. My Rasta’s! I’ve been picking at it with tweezers since day one. I finally got tired of looking at it today and removed it from the tank and did a peroxide dip. 50/50 with 3% peroxide for 5 minutes.
Now I will be looking at them every 5 minutes to see when they bounce back!
The 50/50 peroxide ( 1/2 tank water and 1/2 3% peroxide ) is a good way to permanently kill GHA when you can’t fully remove it manually. Safe for Zoa’s as long as it’s kept to about a 5 minute dip. They usually will remain closed for a few days. They are opening already.educate me. why the peroxide dip?
