Present days: summer/autumn 2019

After a long break i resumed working on my panorama reef.

I had other priorities that needed my attention.
- complete renovation of my 250m2 rooftop
- installing PV system with 63 solarpanels to power my reeftanks
- summertime is also my time for watersport

now we are back on track

This is sounding great! Not sure wood can support the weight of this size tank though
That should be no problem
I already have 4 tanks with wood stands for years
190liter with ikea cabinet
550liters (EZ550reef), another 550liter(EZ550Hyb), 700liter(Frag700reef)
It's about weight distribution through the construction.

This was the Build of my frag700reef tank

Looks great but 700L to 400+ gallons is a big jump

I know....
But each beam will take no more weight in the length, except if i increase the waterheight of the tank. I think the stand will be robust enough to carry the tanks
The three segments will be 3 seperate tanks which will be joined together for watermaintenance sake by waterbridges.

Interesting concept but why not just one big tank?

Oh wow those solar panels looking great! How much daily power do those produce?
I wanted to get some panels for my system too

For safety reasons.
If anything should happen to 1 segment i would never loose all. I.e. a crack in the glas due to bumping or accidents.

There are many other benefits, like choice of fish and coral species. I can even let usefull fishes swim to the desired section to cleanup.

Wait how are you going to have fish swim between?
