My Picasso Clownfish Spawn and Rearing

I shared pictures of these two spawning back in Feb. Thought I would update it!

Here are the parents with eggs:

I start seeing Picasso patterns around 2 months of age. Unfortunately, there is a small percentage of Picassos...maybe 20%. I believe this is due to the genetics of the parents. They might only be only first or second generation Picassos as they were purchased when ORA first released the Picasso varient.

Me too!

Here is another set of broodstock (in a different system for obvious reasons) still no spawn, yet there is spawning behavior!

sweet... I'm also looking forward to the Picasso X Platinum babies... also, I couldn't read the last one Snowflakes X ?!?!?

what would be cool to see are Black Snowflakes... :marv

Yes, that is a female Snowflake (approx. 4 years old) and a Darwin male. She has been in my reef since HE was 3/4". HE killed his female this past winter, so I moved HIM to the broodstock system and added a small Darwin. HE is now a lot bigger and now a female. Everyday they do burnouts on the pot so I am just feeding them well and ofter. I am praying too!

will a Ocellaris and a percula mate?

it would be cool that instead of white like the snowflake, it was reversed so it would be more black than white.
