6 months into my first reef tank which was a 75 gallon I decided to upgrade and do everything better (not right though, I'm kinda cheap). I purchased a Prostar 200 because it seemed like the best bang for my buck. This thread will follow my progression for the next couple of years as I have no intention of upgrading again.

As of now, I am trying to level the tank. I have it leveled perfectly but there are gaps between the bottom of the tank and top of the stand. I've tried adjusting the legs to get rid of the gaps but it just throws off the level for the entire tank. I am going to fill up the tank and level it that way to see if it makes a difference.

Quarantine has given me time to make a decent amount of progress. I made the left side control board/ato storage/dosing container area and added an led strip under the stand. I also finished scaping the tank and will add the 80 pounds of Carib sea special grade I have prior to filling it up. In addition to all of that I made a light mount for my reefbreeder 50 out of 80/20. I should finish plumbing the tank by next week and hopefully leak test then. As for the gap I was told by proclear it shouldn't have any effect on the tank.

@Master of Cloak Love the look, just picked one of these up and kicked up my build thread. Looking at your plumbing what is the goal for those three valves on the right? Expansion? Or are you intending to run skimmer and other gear from the return?

Dope. It’s a nice tank I just had a few issues with it because the stand isn’t completely even. Aside from that it’s a great value. The three valves are there Incase I decide to run reactors and/or a UV sterilizer in the future. Better have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

Got it filled up and this happened. I’m really debating my purchase now. Customer service has been excellent but I shouldn’t have had to contact proclear this much. It’s getting irritating.

Sorry to see this. Seems like you have had the worst luck with yours!

Its been a while since I gave an update. So far I upgraded my skimmer to a Reef Octopus 202s because I got a good deal on one off the dry goods forum. I also got some new coral which is currently in quarantine for the next 45 days. I also purchased 12 green chromis because I wanted a school of something in the tank and am currently looking to purchase 5 of some type of anthias. Let me know if you have suggestions. I also got Dino’s so I reduced nutrient export which solved the issue.
