You'll just have the same results if you add another puffer literally less than a month after the first one died. I saw the original posts as to what caused him to die and I won't say what I think it was, but it is something that I'm fairly positive will repeat itself. Slow down on adding all these new fish, puffers aren't for beginners, nor are they for reef tanks (if you have any corals left, I know you had a problem with them earlier).

Awww! This broke my heart. I am so sorry for your loss.

I’ve always felt like puffers are far more ‘pet-like’ than a lot of other fish. Years ago, I had a sweet little porcupine pufferfish named Mr. McPuffles & he was always so happy to see me come home, following me back & forth as I would walk through the house. I miss him every day.
