So started working on the aluminum brackets that are going to mount my LED strip to My Giesemann Matrixx II. Bought some rigid aluminum strips from Home Depot and M4-0.7-12mm screws from Ace Hardware (correct thread pitch for the T5). Lined up and drilled holes that matchup with the cable mounts on the fixture. The plan is to bend the one end so the LEDs come off the fixture at a 45. I would really like to have these pieces anodized black but don't know if anyone who can do it for a good price. Backup plan is to spray paint them black

Picking up the tank today!!!! Cut the neoprene foam for under the tank 1/8 shorter then the stand so you won't see it once tank is on it.

Tanks home!!! Big shout out to Marvin & Henry for helping me with the move! Henry and I also start working on the light bracket for the LEDs. Going to sand and paint them tomorrow. As for the tank it's even more stunning in person. Even got the infamous and elusive Felix signature! The Ghosr overflow should be done by next week

I am planning on a 60x28x22
Are you doing custom or pre made? Also what lights are you playing on? If you can I highly suggest you go with the 66" over the 60" for 3 reasons. 1. You get an extra 10% water volume (16g) for just 6" 2. Most fixtures come in 60" so having an extra 3" on each side of the fixture IMO looks better visually. If your going muliple LEDs then this doesn't matter as much but rails still tend to come in 60" 3. 66" is 3x the 22" tall so your front "viewing window" is at a perfect 3:1 ratio which personally is perfect proportions

Im really curious to see your sump!
Me too lol. It's been sent to Ben at BOA so it's all in his hands. It's VERY similar to the BRS 160 sump but 2" shorter with a few customizations and tweaks. Going with a mostly white with red accents look that matches my bubble king skimmer and red dragon return. The plumbing will also be red with white fittings
