i would use some type of guard,really porous piece rock,type of plastic mesh ,like used under pizzas..crafts..etc
We were going to have to do this when the new tank was being set up. Just didn’t expect to do it now, and have to leave it this way until next week. Old tank should smell good tomorrow. Some hard core moving ratchet straps should hold it so you wouldn't have to use the tub.

Actually, they already sent a replacement tank. It’s still in its crate in the garage. Sold it and put the money towards a Waterbox 220
