My LFS has a Striped Blenny (Meiacanthus grammistes)
http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+23+97&pcatid=97 : For profile

Was looking into it and wondering if it would be a good fit for my tank. Any feedback on this cool fella?

They are venomous so be careful handling it. They are generally well tempered and peaceful. It is related to the harp tail you used to have so expect similar things. Only one I would watch is the gramma. If is guarding the rocks too much you may have issues with the blenny feeding.

I guess i can float the blenny in a clear tank for a bit so the gramma can get used to it. The gramma changes caves like underwear. Always on the move.

I want to say my tank is ready for a Hector's or Court Jestor Goby.... I want to say I HOPE it's ready.

They are a hit or miss fish. Best bet is to get one that has been accepting prepared foods. Like mandarins if they take food it is not hard to keep them. If they don't they will likely starve unless in a large system with little competition.

I was actually thinking of picking some up with my new mandarin next week. I wanted to see if they would really clean up algae.

I'll be interested in hearing more. My lfs has them I just have to get a qt set up for them.

Unfortunately. I dont have a QT. I know the importance of it and ive had one in the past, but in my current situation i am unable to keep one. So i have a small plastic tank i keep new arrivals in for some time.

Cool, they are native to Florida so you may see them in stores down there more than we do here. I had to order mine special. Let me know how the hector goes.

My LFS didnt have it in stock, employee told me to come back next monday. He's gonna try to get one for me

I ran into a fuzzy dwarf lionfish yesterday. I need help before i devote my entire tank to it.

i need it in my life.

Lol. Sounds like you will need more tanks. I would not put it in with the little gobies. It may be a dwarf compared to other species but they still will snack on small fish and inverts.
