That's really awesome. I heard they're very difficult to keep alive. Have you had any trouble with it?

Can you get a closeup of the Yellow Frilly Sponge? Kudos to your display.

I am similarly hooked on softies & sponges.

@Subsea does the yellow tang eat any of the macros in your tank? I would love to add macro algae to my tank but my sea hare and snails would decimate them...

Yellow Tang in 120G tank eats very little ornamental macro. He grazes on GHA and abundant tiny feather dusters. However, I have two seperate problems with macro in that tank. Small white Astrae Starfish create much damage to Red Grapes and Red Ogo. Both were moved to 75G tank with very few of these starfish. In the case of the Red Grapes, Hippo Tang grazed heavily on Red Grapes but fist went after three green Caulerpa. At this point, with the Blue Tang, I can keep Red Ogo in the 75G display tank. In the 120G tank Caulerpa Prolifera grows well and stands up to starfish grazing.

Picked up a used system for $450. Turning this into a softie tank. Everything in the photo was included for $450. Had a lot of hair algae and it’s still a work in progress (had it for about 3 weeks so far) best deal ever!
Display refugium, aqua max skimmer various return ai hydra and prime, corals and fish etc.

I only added a few things from my other tank and a few fish and clean up crew and rock flowers. Otherwise everything included.

I really enjoyed looking at everyone else’s softie set up- gives me a lot of ideas.

HAPPY REEFING!

You got a very nice Christmas present. Awesome looking mature stuff.

In the second of the last picture, what is that green macro with the cups.

I have no idea lol. It was very small and has been growing like crazy. It’s probably doubled in size since I got the tank. It grows a “runner” and all the branches with “cups” grow from the runner.

but honestly no clue what it is, but I like it lol

This is what I thought you might have. It says lightly calcified and a slow grower
