She’s beautiful!
The Spotteds are my favourite of the Dragonets and their personalities are even better. Mine loves playing peekaboo in the mornings and just watching me.

Also, your little lady is actually a beautiful male :)
The spike on his dorsal is what shows this, although it’s more obvious on Synchiropus splendidus the males have a spike on their front dorsal and females have a flat dorsal.
This is my girl with her fins up, as you can see there’s no obvious spike on her dorsal.

I know right, the spotted mandys seem to have incredibly small fins and their spike is smaller than you’d expect.

Looks like i might want to see if I can get a female now. I’m totally sold on Spotteds and think that I like the coloration more than the standard green Mandys.

The blue rings just glow and the orange on the inside adds to it. They’re definitely a nice species of Synchiropus, possibly even more so than the Flaming Scooters.
