My SPS & Clam Tank

Here i am on the hunt to add a cool blasto to my blasto rock 🤷🏻‍♂️
So was I and I told Miami so he thought it would be funny to bid against me on it. I know he hates them so I let him win :)

Watching the 30-second timer tick down, I yelled through the phone, “Put a bid. It’s gonna make me buy it. Do it NOW!”

The only response? Hysterical laughter. It only grew louder as the timer hit zero. My hands went cold and my vision turned white.

Then I witnessed the $14 blasto change into sixty-five bucks, thanks to shipping. I’d only bid a dollar higher than him. Just to be cute.

Awful experience. 0/10. Would not recommend. lol

True story, I was laughing like crazy

Uh oh. The phosphate vial should not be this blue…

3 minutes remaining. Oh dear.

Sweet mother of pearl.

I think I’m gonna test phosphate again. I drew a sample from the sump, which I never did before. Let me try like I always do.

I took steps to reduce the phosphate. I added 5 grams of lanthanum chloride to my ATO and started my reactor with about 0.75 cup of GFO.

I will report back in a week.

Don’t go fast with it man.

The phosphates are very high, and there’s even more bound to the rocks. The amount of GFO I used will not drop it, and the lanthanum amount is low because it’s diluted and gradually spread throughout 1.5 weeks.

It will be pretty slow. I’ve tested these dosing amounts before.

TSA reached out to me recently. They are coming to Miami, and they wanted to stop by to feature my tank on their YouTube channel.

It’s really nothing extravagant. They were already coming here and were looking for tanks near the area. They weren’t specifically flying out for me.

Anyway, I said I was interested in, but then I realized it would entail me getting interviewed, so I got cold feet.

They already sent the PM and wanted to coordinate it.

Edit. See? Nothing special. They were already coming near the area. It’s nothing special, so it wouldn’t hurt if I declined the offer.

Go for it - I just had mine on Parkers Reefs here in Australia, had to be interviewed, actually worked out fine!

Would you like to post the interview here so I can see if I have the capacity to do that?

Wow! I’ve seen your tank before. I didn’t realize it was yours. You did great!

Do you have birds?
Haha my kids have some budgies! - they decided to spend the whole video singing!

I used to breed Indian Ringnecks years ago also.
