So how is having a bare bottom tank coming along? How do you keep it clean?

For me this is the best choice, I have no time to expend on sand cleaning, I did sand bed before but never get it clean as I like.
Snails do great job.

My clean metod it is easy, with the hose I just siphon water from the main to the filter sock on the Sump. All pumps off but return pump working (dont what to overfill the sump :)). Doing this way, I will clean the bottom with no water change every time.

The day I do water change I clean the sump.

1 inch frag, don't remember the name, but some one told me it will grow like a millepora but it is not one.
Don't know were to place it , I need to be sure how will grow.

So when you clean the sump do you just change the water out or siphon the sump also. I'm curious because I'm thinking of doing bare bottom with my next build. So I'm collecting as much feedback as I can get .

I am not going to say that "Bare" is "the way to", I love the sand also but I never get it clean as I like.

Bare bottom is working fine for me now, but who knows if in the near future some sand will be sitting in there

Hi thanks glad you like it. I have been trying AB+ for a few weeks now , I wanted to dim White channel a bit. So for now no complains at all.
