Refugiums provide supplemental filtration in marine aquariums by employing natural filtration methods to efficiently process excess nutrients that can compromise aquarium water quality.
In my case I use the macroalgea chaeto as the natural filtration. You will need to add a light source and turn it on when display lights go out and off when display lights go on.
Hope this helps.

Yes it did. Just looking for ideas because I too have a biocube

That sad feeling When your best friend moves to Amsterdam. But the happy feeling when his babies will live on in your tank!
Welcome the new additions!

If you're looking for a different skimmer, you could go with the aquaticlife mini skimmer 115 which is what I use in my hqi. And for whoever was asking about the li coralife hqi that comes standard in the kit and costs about $330 from marinedepot- Coralife Aqualight Advanced Tank-Mount, 1- 150 W 14,000K HQI. Loving the scape and black sand!

Ah, I missed the time stamp on when you added the corals.

Definitely stress related mucus.

Welll I did a huge water change removed a lot of the rock work and I really like what I did its still a little murky but I love all this swimming room I've added and new places to put my corals.

It looks very empty right now but all of my fish and corals are in a 30gallon holding tank while the parameters and sand settle!
