my upgrade journal/journey

alright kevin, going to need your help here again with a cipro dose. my torch fell (again!) on a mushroom and fried them both. now the torch has bjd. i dipped it and blasted it out the best i could but now i need to dose the tank. its a 180 😤

So sorry Jill, preferably the KFC dip is the gold standard and contains Cipro but I’ve had great success with Cipro alone. Here’s the formula. Let me know if you need anything else. The quicker you do it the better the outcome.

im sure kevins in bed, pickling people in his dreams! im trying to remember if im supposed to figure in sump water in that amount. and i just dissolve the pills in some tank water and dump it in the display, right?

now i need to stock back up! where do you guys get cipro? kung fu site says that theyre out
You can order this but when I was at the vet I explained what I might need Cipro for in my saltwater tank and he said he would get some for me. When I was checking out they had a bottle ready for me. I already had some, I was speaking about a future need but bought it anyway. With your dog breeding you should have a great relationship with your vet.

I wonder what the difference is between that "Aqua Cipro" and regular cipro besides a price hike of $61.25.

The only difference is that you need a prescription to buy it from Chewy. If you have a vet already it should be fairly easy to get them to give you the prescription.

Good catch, Tom. I am not sure how I missed that little nugget of truth. I walked through the steps of ordering and it seems an easy enough process.
