My Xenia and it's little friends

Hi guys, new to this reef hobby only a few months into it and decided to try some Xenia in my tank to start with.

I've seen others pulse but mine doesn't at all

That's how it looks at the moment but does anyone know what that orange thing is at the base?

It also has these weird things growing at the base of one of the storks, no idea what they are either.

Any help identifying these things would be appreciated.. and please let me know if you don't think it looks healthy... I heard these things can survive in a toilet.

does anyone know what that orange thing is at the base?
I’m relatively confident the orange thing is a bryozoan (harmless filter feeder).
It also has these weird things growing at the base of one of the storks, no idea what they are either.
These (for me) are hard to see in the pic, but possibly sponges?
