It’s interesting that the yellow and purple seem to have merged into a grey, I bet in person it’s still a stunning fish though!

There is no gray. It's hard to see the details in videos and pics. The alternating lateral lines are shades of light purple and yellow, but I know what you mean. It's got a ton of interesting details from both parents in person. Imo it's almost the perfect blend of both parents.

Honestly, some hybrids (especially in angels) look like a bad mash of both parents, but I wonder why in tangs they really look perfect.
It’s not just Yellow x Purples either, it’s the Achilles x nigricans, Leucosternon x nigricans, Tennetti x Olivasceus ect… I’ve not seen a single hybrid tang that looks bad yet.

I think with tangs they are not as colorful/multi colored like many angels and to me that is one of the reason why angel hybrids don't look as natural? All the different colors and patterns confuses the DNA or something

It’s too bad you can’t see the video. He has a lot of beauties in there.

The Yurok’s is beautiful and everything… But come on! Look at that blue face and tell me that doesn’t look nicer.

Haha the Blueface Angel is one of my favorites. He is starting to show his true self.

Ya he sort of stole the show in the second video. Got a little bossy. You can see the love nip in the last photo lol

I think I need a FOWLR or FOWLR with whatever noxious corals survive.

I will give you 5 million rupees for the Yurple tang :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
Awesome fish !!

Thank you for sharing, I like the lavender body it has.

You have many beautiful fish, are any of the others also captive bred?
How to view on an iPhone? I was looking forward to seeing these guys grow up. 1 of 12 yes?

That was the original story but I've sorta tracked most many of them. There definitely is much more then 12 but less then 100 I feel.

The Yurple's tank mates.

Beautiful fish!! I want one of those so bad!!! For now, I'll just live vicariously through others. :D

Would look real nice with my collection. I have noticed more and more hybrids showing up and looking real nice. Here is an achilles Hybrid:
