Going to add a 29 show on the side so I can start moving everything out except SPS's. Then I will move them into a 75 gal.

Added manifold this morning. 2 phosban 150. 1 for carbon and 1 for carbon or gfo (which ever I need at the time).

Now I need to plumb in the skimmer.

I treated the tank with chemi clean. No red anywhere. Yes.

I did a 20gal water change yesterday and skimmer is still going crazy.

So since all the ugly is gone. Time to add. My new addition.

So I finally got the tank to clear up. I am going to get back on zeovit. I have been using coral snow. I been dosing bacteria so now I will put the stones in and remove the cheato.

So I am going to do the zeovit again. At least partly. I started dosing zeostart 3 and coral snow. Ordered zeostones to start reactor back up. I am going ro do it a little different this time. I am not going to pump the reactor daily. Maybe once a week. I will dose zeostart at the inlet of the reactor.

I tested the water today.
no3 - around 25 salifert tester. I up feeding with brine shrimp.

we will see how it goes.

I started dosing zeobak and started the reactor. Going slow only put 1l of stones. I did 15gal water change today. My frags are starting to crust.

No3 still is between 10 & 25 ppm

I added .600 zeolites for total 1.6l.

Thank is really looking good. All the brown slime and cyano have been gone for 2 months now.

Got this coral from lfs. It was brown. He gave it to me to see if I could get it to survive. Look at it now.

I am going to do a SPS only tank on zeovit. My tank is an acrylic 180 with a 65gal sump. It has a lifereef skimmer and ATi T5 light fixture. I do have a chiller but not sure if I need it yet. The stand is custom built by me. I actually built it for a friend. He was getting out of the hobby so I bought it from him.

Hook up chill as emergency. Turn on once amonth or more often. Nice comrade

I have stopped the zeolites stones. I started to get that slimy brown stuff. Cleaned the tank and it is going away. No3 is at zero. The red planet is pale pink. Red monti cap pale grey. I started to dose neonitro and potassium. Red planet is getting darker and the cap is a deep bright red orange color. I will get pics tomorrow.

How is the tank going now? Have been struggling with a lot of things too (similar issues like you had) and switched over towards Zeovit since a few weeks. Everything fine except some light stringy brown algae but that not it is causing any issues so far.
