Mystery wrasse

I'm think of getting one, but I've heard mixed reviews. What are your thoughts? Fish current size around 3".

Tank is 220, I dont not plan on getting any other wrasse of the Pseudocheilinus family. But I do have intentions on having other wrasses. Currently I have yellow coris's, orange back, aussi Scott's, rosy scale. With intention on some others.

Any pointers/information to help me make this decision. I just love the colouration.

Mine is fine. He's one of the smaller wrasses in my system and I don't have any wrasses that are similar in coloration to him.

I have a melanarus, leopard and a sailfin fairy wrasse with him. I was worried about the fairy wrasse, but they seem fine together so far. I also think having more may spread out any aggression issues.

I would chose a similar colored fish over any species in the genus.

Given the tank size it might work if was the last wrasse added and none after him.

But also might be fine year 1 and 2 then suddenly year 3 start terrorizing.

It might work given the size of the tank, but more often than not the genus eventually begins to become increasingly aggressive, particularly to other wrasses.

I have had several Mystery Wrasses over the years in assorted sized tanks. (55g to 220g) The only time I ever had a problem was when I introduced the Mystery Wrasse as one of the first fish in tank. I recall one of them being aggressive to new tank mates, other wrasses in particular, but the aggression lasted 2-3 days and it would finally subside.
