Hello reefers, just a quick update on the N-Clear M 4-inch fleece-roller filter.

We’ve collected a lot of great feedback from our beta testers. For many tanks, the filter performed very well right out of the box. However, on some tanks we realized the fitting needed to be handled differently to ensure the best performance across all 4” filter holes. This is because the actual size and shape of 4” filter sock openings can vary quite a bit from tank to tank.

To address this, we’ve developed an improved design that solves the issue. The new design has tested extremely well, and we’re now preparing to file a patent for it. We expect the revised version with the improved design to be ready for retail in January.
