The tank has changed over the past few days, good change, the red leather is a serious burgundy now and retracted, it started sulking a couple of weeks ago, most others appear sort of ok, like poised, we might have hit low two in the ongoing incident, hopefully up will be the new direction. :)

I don't think I have talked much about my love of creatures recently.
I have been topping up basic cuc recently.

Ok I am going to come right out and say it, this was always coming home with me as soon as I spotted it.
It is now in.
I was told what it was, reading has been done, type pebble crab in giggle, you get all sorts.
Arcania novemspinosa, I can't find anything about what they eat.

I think it is algae and I think I know why it's pincers are like long curved chopsticks. :)

That certainly is a cool creature!

Hey, you know what? I'm a pretty cool creature too and, now that I give it some thought, you haven't talked much your love of me either! :p

And for what it's worth; I DID see your legs in your now infamous "snorting" video and, I have to say, I've seen better legs in a bucket of chicken! ;Hilarious

Wow! I never saw a crab like that , very cool.

Thanks, it is very distracting, this is the left front looking from my desk end!
It is actually active in this pic!
I was looking at the picture in the bag again and at pics on google trying to figure out the legs.
It is like it is swimming in the sand so my guess is trying to disturb something maybe?
I will continue to observe! ;)

A midas is my next fish for sure. I've wanted one forever and should've pulled the trigger the last time my LFS had them.
Great addition Simon.

Thanks, it was always on my want list but it never happened due to having a jewel blenny in the tank, it is a gorgeous fish. :)
