can't find one of these local.Ok the cbb has some sort of parasite that I have to deal with, it has eaten like a pig for ever and is still pinched thin at the front, it was very lethargic this morning and wouldn't take food so I easily netted it out and popped it in the sump refugium.
Only the second time I have ever done this to a fish but it got a 5 minute fresh water dip and yes I watched the seconds count down on the timer!
Hand caught to go in the dip as it was weak so this was a last resort and a few flukes came off that were not visible, I held it back in the sump for a minute until it swam out of my hand, fingers crossed.
I just got off the phone with the manager of my lfs and now have two small females on a standing order until they find them.
How do you tell, a he or a she?Coming out of their cave.
She is now a he and is still a bloody pest!
Interesting....definitely let us know if it chews it down!Fff has something stuck in it's teeth / mouth.
Take one and no it's not the mimic!
I saw it grab it and I thought it was just a caulerpa shoot, it eats anything!
Still there 30 minutes later, nori going in so hopefully it can chew through it and dislodge it, caulerpa would have been gone in about 5 seconds.
It could be my current refreshments (its that time if day!) but has the foxy fish just eaten the other fish or is my current tipple starting to make me see things! ?Fff has something stuck in it's teeth / mouth.
