I figured I’d give a small frag tank a shot and document the process along the way. I hope you follow along and help me make the best of it!

I take it you are using this for your inspiration, I bet it will come out nice. Keep this thread updated.

Not at all. I’m going through the fishless cycle and will be making the next video soon. I figure it’s much easier than explaining it all in a post. Hopefully it’s ok. And we can talk about the steps here.

Great video, by the way! I like the simplicity of it, but that's because I'm old school lol

Thank you! Simple is good when it works

I like trying to get as much space as possible but still have everything in there to hopefully be successful.

I just finished my 2 week fishless cycle with Dr Tim’s One and Only and it didn’t work as I had hoped. Seems like it will take much more time by not having substrate, lots of live rock, and a sump.

I guess I’ll continue the process until it works?

Following along!

So I found out that the cheapest frag stand is at Target in the kitchen section. The brand is Brightroom and it's called a kitchen shelf.

A YouTube user mentioned using Marine Pure BioFilter Media balls. Anyone had success with these? I’m considering adding them.

Success! It finally cycled. It took a bit longer than expected but it does work.

Just acclimated some mollies to saltwater, went pretty well.
