Howdy,
I have a mature Fluval SeaFlex 32 gallon that's heavily SPS dominated with two Nero 3's going at a max of 50% and an AI Axis 40 at 80%. I don't have that many fish in the tank (two clowns, a blenny, and a six line wrasse) but I definitely want more, but I can't think of that many species that would go good in that size tank with that much flow. For example, fire fish aren't the strongest swimmers so I don't feel it's ethical about putting them in that chaotic environment.
Any fish suggestions you can think of would be great! For other info, I have a tight fitting lid and definitely have the means of rehoming fish so I'm ok with going with a fish that's rated for a tank slightly bigger than 30g.

I think perching fish like a hawkfish would be cool. My sps dominated tank has around 2.5k gph per hour and is 20g with 2 damsels, a clown, and a goby. Most handle flow fine but stay away from Cardinals id say

I’m definitely considering a long nose hawk. They’re unique. And there’s definitely plenty of dead zones it’d be content at. Thanks! Also I might not be opposed to the damsel route if my six line doesn’t chill out 😅

As bad as my stocking sounds with a talbot, springers, and clown, it can be done right. A springeri is an awesome fish with so much character and personality. A longnose hawk is the same and seems to thrive no matter what. 100% wanna get 1
