Hi all,

I have kept nano freshwater tanks for almost two decades. Always been my dream of mine to have a saltwater reef tank with fish. A few months ago, I picked up a cycled 5 gallon tank from my LFS. Came with live rock, coral, snails, and two juvenile o. Clownfish. Once I familiarized myself with saltwater and coral, I got another cycled tank with coral, two juvenile o. Clown, and a few blue legged hermits from my LFS, but this time a 10 gallon. Needless to say, I am in love! Moved my clowns to the 10 gallon and added a royal gramma basslet. I know soon enough I will probably have to get another tank to house the additional two clowns (not my intention but now I’m attached to all 4 clowns).. but that’s the fun of fishkeeping? Am I right!?

Not 4, you shouldn't get more than 2 as it will end in disaster. I would say 1 clown for a 10 gallon, but 15 gallons for 2.
Thank you and I totally agree! They came with the tank. They are juveniles .5 to .75 and I plan to set up another tank and house two of them in there once it’s fully cycled.
