My naso tang has 2 white dots on his head above her gills. They appeared 2 days after Christmas they haven't got any bigger since then they are like sand grande size and actually look like white sand stuck to her skin. Dose anyone know what this might be and if so how to treat it? I put a picture but hard to take one fish is acting normal swimming fast and following me everywhere I go eats great too like a pig .

How long have you had the tang? Any new additions? Other fish doing ok?

Could be an injury/bacterial, flukes, ich (less likely if you’re not seeing additional spots).

To rule out Flukes you’d have to do a fw dip. Bacterial or an injury may go on its own.

Read up on flukes for about 1 minute and dosen't seem to be that fish is acting normal and spots are white and protruding off the skin just like 2 pieces of sand stuck to her

That's what I read the second u said it could be flukes. It states that it is a clear organiziam not a white dot it says it's hard to see and fish will swim odd. I know it's not ick and definitely not velvet seems odd was hoping someone else had this I love this fish and don't want it to die.

I just saw a post about something similar but it was a PBT that was covered in something similar to these. Are these more like granular or like a very small worm hanging on? in the pic they look like a small worm like thing to me, could just be the pic though.
