Nassarius snail behaviour

Anybody know what my Nass snail is upto in this picture? It usually comes out for food and not for very long or very often! Maybe see it once a week if lucky and only for a quick once around the tank before it goes under again! Its been hanging about on this rock for around 4-5 hours and its been in the same position in the photo now for the past couple of hours! Its never done this before. Thanks

Do you have any pictures under white light (ex. with a flashlight)? You normally don’t see Nassarius snails attached to solid surfaces unless they’re searching for food or laying egg-sheets.

Yeh i did wonder if it was laying. Cant see anything so far though!
