Natureef sf2 doser question

A friend of mine just sold his tank and gave me a natureef sf-2 solution doser and I'm not sure exactly how to set it up for my tank. I was reading product info from the website and it states that it dispenses 216ml of solution in a 24 hour period. I have a 90 gallon fish and coral with about 70 additional gallons in refugium/sump. Question is, is there a controller that I could be using to automatically dose the 2 solutions. Possibly dose according to ph? Or should I just test, dose, test until I get levels where needed? Little lost and would appreciate any advice. Thanks
