Hey All,

I saw this coral in a soft coral show-off thread (page 3 at the top). The post is from 2014, I replied to the poster but did not hear back. Any idea on a species ID? Looks like a finger leather or some type of branching leather? Or maybe a colt coral with not a lot of polyp extension? I'm stumped, hopefully you can help me!

Looks similar to a devils hand leather. Best of luck :)

It looks to me like a sinularia species instead of a Lobophytum species as the stalk on a Lobophytum is short and wide instead of thin and tall (This usually characterises a Sinularia).
It’s possibly a Sinularia polydactyla.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
