Resembles cyphastrea but the corallites are smaller.

Could you get a better pic possibly? It looks like an Acroporid possibly; maybe Montipora or a small-polyped Alveopora. Or it could be Stylocoeniella; IDK

Yeah, that's a pretty crappy picture. I'll try to get a better one tomorrow.

Montipora undata?

Edit: I see we're in the LPS forum, my bad
I don't believe it's a monti.

This is one of the many "MPS" corals... the polyps are not large but not as small as most SPS, lol.

Pavona of some variety

Edit: I take that back, I don’t see anything cauliflower like.

It's not cyphastrea, the polyps are too small.
Def not pavona ;)
def not pavona, but is that full extension? Does it ever get any sweepers? Polyps are not dense enough (from what I see) to be psammocora either. Thst brings us back to some kind of monti.

I'll get better pics tomorrow. I just got the coral so not sure if that's full extension.

I don’t see any nubs or vertical growths for as far as it has encrusted. I wouldn’t think so, but for doing this for more than 2 decades, I am maybe the world’s worst at remembering coral species or identifying odd ones…. Or fish for that matter. I just never took an interest in absorbing the information. Sad, but true.

Fully open to being wrong.

The more i look online, the more I'm leaning toward stylo or some sort of monti. The pic below is blown up; the polyps are actually much smaller than they look, otherwise I'd say cyphastrea.

Regardless, I hope to keep it alive, lol.

Could you possibly bring it closer to the glass and take a photo up close?

Hey, i was trying to tag you (@encrustingacro), lol. Glad I realized this is you :)

This is probably the best pic I'll be able to get due to its placement in the tank.
