I don't believe it's a monti.

This is one of the many "MPS" corals... the polyps are not large but not as small as most SPS, lol.

I say stylocionella. I have two, one has long polyps out, the other looks like retracted cyphastrea with small heads/mouths.

def not pavona, but is that full extension? Does it ever get any sweepers? Polyps are not dense enough (from what I see) to be psammocora either. Thst brings us back to some kind of monti.

I don’t see any nubs or vertical growths for as far as it has encrusted. I wouldn’t think so, but for doing this for more than 2 decades, I am maybe the world’s worst at remembering coral species or identifying odd ones…. Or fish for that matter. I just never took an interest in absorbing the information. Sad, but true.

What is the corallite morphology? Plocoid? Thamnasteroid? Monti-like?
