I tried a matted filefish, but it pecked at my duncan and trumpet (caulastrea) corals too much. My hawk fish beat on my peppermint shrimp. My Copperband butterfly has been my savior!

I have Duncan's and trumpets also. I was looking at the copperband butterfly's and it said it might pick at corals also. Mostly Zoas and Palys. How is yours with corals? Any concerns with SPS?

My Copperband is a model citizen. I have seen briefly pick at an acan, but nothing else. I don’t have zoas, so no help there.

The thing about the laser is that you need to get the root as well.

I used some plastic reef weld on mine.

I have had a good amount of success with the laser BUT I take my rocks and frag plugs out of the water and zap them on my kitchen table. It kills them dead as it cooks everything and leaves the rock burnt black where you do it. It smells really awful too so wear a mask. I know it's not an option for most people to take their rocks out of the water but it's an idea.

F-Aiptasia applied to about 90% of the anemones. Will get the rest next weekend. F-Aiptasia applied and covered anemone well. After 20 minutes I turned the pumps and powerheads on and most of the product stayed in place.

However, I think I am about to have a nightmare on my hands though. On about 15 of the anemones I noticed that after applying the product a burst of tiny little specks came out of the paste. I hope they weren't releasing babies everywhere because there was a tons of tiny specks. Maybe the product settling?

What do you all think? Does that sound like they were releasing babies or was it just the product settling?

I’m going with babies. Definitely babies. :)

Whoops. Meant it to be :-(

But NOW it’s :)

I don’t think you need to worry. I’ve seen similar and didn’t get spawns everywhere.
Lol. I hope nothing comes from it but the laser only seemed to turn these little guys on and within a couple weeks they were everywhere. Hope this did the trick.

It’ll work on the ones you did... Kalk paste works too... they will come back in other spots over time... small ones are already growing that you didn’t see.

A combination of Aiptasia x and peppermint shrimps. It is pretty cool to watch the peppermint shrimp hunt for them. And they are pretty brutal

I think it was also. I think it might have been the anemone sucking down further while it was being sealed and air, etc came out with the product.

I was looking into peppermints but I kept reading they were hit or miss.

IME the only thing that actually works is physical removal from the tank... any of these pastes will leave you with just tons of new babies everywhere, and peppermints and beghias dont work either, sme with filefish..... its so hit or miss and mostly miss....

There is a chance yes. But if you do get some good ones they will actively hunt any destroy aiptasia. Super exciting to watch. Like Edward scissors hands style lol

I encourage you all to try my product. If it DOESN’T work, these forums are definitely here for you to share that experience! What manufacturer would make that suggestion for an unworthy product????

Yes I am one of the producers! Yes I want to sell my product! In fact, YES to practically every question that you might ask a producer who is trying to sell his/her product . But seriously, this works. I’ve have people tell me that they couldn’t get under sides of live rock, we’re afraid to kill anemones in center of Zoanthus’s, etc. But no one has told me that it did not work!

One thing that I’ve learned from the customer is that F Aiptasia separates and needs to be stirred then shaken before use. It was critical constructive criticism and even necessary because now we include
‘popsicle ‘ sticks small enough to stir into the top prior to shipping. Again my only point is that these are the things I’ve been told-NOT that the product doesn’t work.
I own a store I. Fort Worth Texas! I am indeed the most apprehensive person in the industry because, quite FRANKly, many wholesaler and manufacturers sell us stores and online vendors products to sell to YOU- the customers and real supporters of this industry even though they KNOW that they are worthless. Some of these are manufacturers who have been around forever selling quality products that support both freshwater and saltwater and now choose to sell junk because the good name of their company supports the idea that many will try those products. I get it! I really do.
My point again is only that this product works and if you have Aiptasia, please consider giving it a try! I’m not begging! I just know how great this product is. I wish I could take all the credit for its production and its effectiveness! But I can’t! I couldn’t have done it without the key contributions of a couple local doctors. Seriously without their contributions, I could NOT have been involved I. This wonderful product.

Look, please check the reviews on R2R. If you have a problem with Aiptasia, please give my product a try.
