So I told me LFS I wanted to order a Fluval Spec/Flex 32.5. I mentioned that I only really needed the tanks, as I will be using Kessil lights and a Sicce return pump. My LFS is awesome and figured out that they could save me money and order just the tank from Fluval. . . now the only problem is I don’t have the appropriate return plumbing and I am not sure where to get it or what alternatives would be the right size. . . Help???

Looks like 1/2 in hose onto barbed fittings. Get your Sicce pump and see what size hose you need order the duck bills you want in the same size put it together with plastic squeeze clamps.

The smaller Sicce pumps are usually 1/2 to 3/4 Barbed fittings.

Yeah, I figured it was 1/2”, but I couldn’t find anything explicitly stating that, and I know Fluval uses weird sizes/metric sizes sometime.

Guess I will have to order some 1/2” stuff and do some test fitting.

With Barbed fittings 1/2 inch and 13 mm is close enough that it will work together .5 = 1/2 inch and 0.51181102362205 = 13 mm just clamp it tighter LOL.
