Need help identifying a random coral sprouting

i have had this frag of gsp for a few months and it hasn’t moved off the frag plug but that isn’t what I’m here to talk about. I noticed over the past week a bud developing on the gsp frag that looks almost identical to the buds that are sprouting out of the base on my frogspawn. I know gsp grows a mat so I’m wondering how it’s growing a LPS like bud on it and what this sprout could be and how got on my gsp frag? I can’t get the greatest of pictures. But it looks no different the bud on the frogspawn if that helps. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Are those bad? So is that a bud on my frogspawn or a snail too?

Just my opinion but snail on both. You can either take the frag out of the tank and pry the snail off or superglue the opening. Try and Google Vermetid Snail picture just to verify as I am by no means an expert.
