Need help identifying this coral

Got it about a month ago and LFS said it was a finger leather. Looks like a sinnularia to me but just want to be sure.

Furthermore I want to know what these little nodes hanging off it are. I layed down a frag disc for one of them in case it's multiplying or splitting.

So I'm right to assume it is a sinnularia?

What about the little blobs circled in the photo?

Sinularia consists of only S. brassica, which are cabbage leathers, while Sclerophytum consists of all former Sinularia species besides S. brassica.

I would not recommend using aquarium sources for identification, as they often misidentify things and use outdated taxonomy.
