I got my new blueberry prostrata today and it was bleached all the way through form shipping stress. Question is what can I do to help it out I gave it a dip in Medicoral for 5 min then placed it in a high flow medium light area of the tank then gave it a broadcast of Coral Amino from brightwell. Please help me save this coral it was one of the pieces I was looking foreword to the most of my order.
Tank conditions
SG 1.024
TEMP 81
NITRATES 0
CA 440
MG 1450
PO4 0
KH 8 DKH
PH 8.4
IT IS UNDER A TWO WEEK OLD PHOENIX 14K ABOUT 12IN UNDER IT IN THE CENTER.

All help is appreciated thank you.

I would take a picture of it and send it to whomever you purchased it from. I would leave it in the tank for now and see what happens. I have had corals bleach out and then come back when I thought they were dead. It may comeback it may not but if you toss it you may never know. If after a few days it starts to get algae growing on it or turns green then it's probably dead. Hopefully the vendor will take care of you. HTH

I would lower flow a bit for a bleached acro...medium to medium low light as well...any kind of stress is not good for an unhappy coral

I wouldn't put in any amino acids. I agree with the other two. Move it to lower lighting for now and take a picture to send to the vendor.

Cool thanks a ton I have moved it to lower light and a low flow area it does however have some polyp extension so hopefully this is a good thing I guess this is a good thing considering it has lost all it blue color and is totally white. I have also bleached a christmas tree acro but this is my fault from getting to excited and moving it to quickly.

DONT UNDERESTIMATE A 150W HALIDE ON A HQI BALAST, this is my lesson of the month for my self. Thank you everybody.

Gotcha I am worried about my water conditions dosing acids so I agree after the census about just moving it to lower light and flow. I got it from a private seller on here but he has more then been willing to replace it for me if I cannot save it, Thanks a ton.
