Hello there, I was looking at some tanks ideas and thought about my rockwork to left rear corner would that be possible to make more open space in the midsection is there a need to be space between the glass and rocks then if I move them? And would that help with the flow (currently fighting cyano) don't know what to do since water was just checked and nitrates is on 0 and phosphate is 0 too... LFS guy told me to try slowly dosing phosphate remover and doing small water changes every day since cyano or something else is aggressively eating it away therefore the nutrient balance is helping cyano to thrive. By the way my tank has no filter except live mature rock and sand.

Personally I would add another powerhead instead of removing rock, you already have minimal amount of rock. Also since you have no filtration, the rock is currently the only filter, so I would not remove it.

Add another powerhead and aim it up at the water surface to get good surface agitation and help oxygenate the water. Flat water surface is not good.

The cyano is very minimal and I would not worry about it at this time, the tank is obviously very new and it is easy for cyano to get hold in this type of system.

No need for phosphate remover or daily water changes. I would just stick to weekly water changes.. Get your tank into a natural rythym, and you will beat the cyano naturally in time.

How old is your tank?

Thank you for your answer, I might have not formulated the question properly. I don't want to remove any rocks I just want to move the left rockwork more to the left rear corner just to give more depth but I'm not to sure if it will work.

Honestly I like the look, I think a flat rock "bridge" between the middle and right rock would look good, and provide another high surface to mount corals to that like more light.
The very right rock has Xenia on it and now encrusting gargonia "encrusted" on it as well 😅 that's why I kept it isolated
