Hey there!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the Meridian 11, it’s a great fit for a Lagoon 25.
With your permission, I’d be happy to make some adjustments to your current program. I can also create a custom schedule for your tank and share it to the Community Profiles tab so others with a similar setup can benefit as well.
Because the Lagoon 25 is a relatively shallow tank, some shared community profiles can run a bit strong depending on mounting height and coral selection. In your case, I’m seeing peak levels around 70 percent on the violets and about 60 percent on the royal blues. Those are perfectly reasonable long term targets, but they are best worked up to gradually.
During the cycling phase, lower intensity is usually ideal. At that stage, higher light mainly fuels algae rather than benefiting anything you want to keep. Once corals are added, a slow ramp up gives them time to acclimate to the increased intensity. As a general rule of thumb, starting around 30 percent peak power and increasing gradually tends to work well.
There are always exceptions. If your corals are coming from a higher intensity system, or if you have access to a PAR meter, we can fine tune things very precisely for your exact setup.
If you’d like to go over more details back and forth, feel free to reach out to us through our contact page at

Just let me know how you’d like to proceed and I’ll take care of the rest.
