Hello , I am new to reefing here and need some help , I tried getting some local help but my only saltwater fish store in town just shut down , I purchased this tank a few months ago and finally got it all put together and water in , it came with only one 1” drain line and one 3/4 return , I know it’s frowned upon to have one drain line but I honestly don’t want anything overhanging on the back of the tank
Here is my setup below , I have currently installed a ball valve on the drain and check valve on the return so I am able to add more water In the display tank without the risk of over flooding the sump Incase of an outage ,
I also have installed a Maggie muffler to quiet the drain
the issue I am having is I can’t seem to have stable water levels and it keeps tripping my Red Sea ATO off , in turn adding more water than I need , of course effecting my salinity, please help , I have blue tapes on the water levels in the weir and return chamber
