Never used one personally but they are a cool concept. I've seen some good reviews online for them as well.

I have bought a different unit. But i found out after the purchase that my city water uses chloramine. So i had to buy an add on for the chloramine.

I was looking at my last today and they have a 4 stage aquatic life ro unit for $130. is this a good router unit or should I get something different. thanks for the help this is it for reference.

Think proprietary filters - every one of them, including the membrane.
Hmm. No spec's on the membrane, or the carbon block, and color changing DI resin ... in a proprietary opaque housing...
