Well kinda... :D

I am going to be running two AI Pendants over my new tank and I am going to use the AI rails to mount them too. But I need to come up with a rack to attach the rails and hanging kit too.

The tank is rimless with a sleek elos style stand so it need to look real modern and not take away from the tank at all. Want it to look simple.

Any ideas?

Attachment to the stand.

Do you have tools at your disposal for bending aluminum pipe or for welding stainless?

hmmmmm that's the problem i am facing myself..... i don't know if i wanna go off the back of the stand with a 90* angle " hopefully strong enough" or just use like 2 pieces of 1" thick clear plex and make a upright on each side and set the canopy on top...... i myself love the look of super thick acrylic and glass so im thinking it wouldn't look to bad but im still brain storming how to make it look like its floating with out any cables....

No I don't have access or the skill! LOL!

I think you'll be better off not using their rack and finding a welder to custom make something for you.

When I was running 2 of the LED fixtures from ReefFiltration I had a welder build me a rack to hold the lights and it basically sat on top of two upside-down L-shaped pieces which were mounted to the stand.

I believe I have some pics in my build thread.

Without access to the tools, the only thing I can think of is using pieces of conduit with fitting and attach it to the stand with conduit straps. Unfortunately it looks pretty ghetto, but it's functional. You may want to call a metal shop in the area. Having them weld a few pieces of angle iron together and grinding them down should be pretty cheap and would look a whole lot better. Then you could paint them whatever color you'd like to give you a nice finished look.

I saw this set up

And I saw this

and figured i could make that lightstand they have better looking and I wouldn't have to weld or screw anything together.
