Setting up an 8g aio on a dresser in the bedroom. Im more than willing to make the dresser 100% reef equipment. That said, i'm trying to iron out details and not chop too much. I want to go fairly simple. Nothing but water changes for as long as I can (in regards to alk/calcium/trace) low demand corals, a RFA and some sexy shrimp. That said, i recently got a ato with a gift card and figure I'll use it for this? Finding a ato container that fits in the drawer is hard though.. maybe order something custom fit? Unless a gravity ato would work just as well? That said, I have a toddler whom might be able to get close enough that I'd want something solid. I think i've seen some square styles that just sit on the top and seem stable? I contemplated cutting drawers and making a actual cabinet door that opens, matches the other small dresser and turns the dresser into a cabinet but it'd be difficult to find a stain to match it if I make a mistake. I'd share pictures but bedroom... baby in the crib.

TL;DR
Let's see some custom dresser/end table designs that tuck all equipment/atos nice and neat and out of the way.

Ato suggestions where hiding a container would be difficult

Its an idea! I was hoping to keep everything consolidated into the one dresser. Which I suppose i could just not use, but it looks so nice right now. Gonna take pictures and start a build thread for it tomorrow!

The one he used is big enough to be your stand.

I also keep forgetting... this tank is tiny and moving it isn't a chore haha. If its not perfect im not stuck with it in one spot like my 120g haha

8 gallons is super small for an ato. Maybe you could use your card for something else? I have 5 tanks and I still top off manually.
I already bought it but I chose that because the vendor that I had a card from didnt have much for options so I figured, eventually, I use it. Only throwing it out there because I have it new in a box collecting dust. My main systems about 160g and i've never kept anything smaller than 90g(total water volume) with a nano is the water evaporation really that minimal?
