After having success in my little 3 gallon cube reef I decided to turn an aqueon 2.5 gallon tank into an aio peninsula style for my girlfriend to have a small reef on her desk, I’ve run into an issue where the same light (cheap $15 Nicrew clip on) that I’ve had on my cube and had great coral growth and color isn’t long enough for her tank. I get about a 1/3 of the light in the back chamber and not the reef and not enough by the front of the tank, I don’t want to spend the money on like a kessil tuna or an AI Prime, but want better color/brightness configuration than the ones that have either the block with 3-5 buttons for set light settings, or the ones with the whole RGB light strip remote, I like the style my Nicrew has. Any recommendations on a light would be great, otherwise I might have to figure out a way to mount a bracket on the side of the Nicrew light for her.

Kessel A80.
In the post I said I didn’t want to spend the money on a kessil as for a 2.5 gallon I shouldn’t need to spend that much on a light, if it was for a bigger tank I’d probably get that but for something this small I’d like to keep the budget fairly low

I have numerous Hygger pieces of equipment, and they all function well and are reasonably priced. For that price I would try it.
