Hello ETRC-

My daughter and I have been working with a 55g reef aquarium for the last 4 years and the time has come to expand. We have a 125g system that should be here next weekend. We need reef rock - live or dry and we're having trouble finding the right rock at the right price. Do any of you have any recommendations?

I was looking for some when I started my tank, ran into the same problems. I couldn't even find a online retailer. I ended up buying Life Rock by Carib Sea. It looks good and works well.

I'm in West Knoxville near Rocky Hill / Northshore. I'm interested.
I also have sand if you need it. I will be bust today but will be back this evening if you want to come take a look? PM me your number and I will keep you posted on a time and send you my address.

I've got a lot of sand also. It will need to be rinsed out, since it's been used and has sat for long enough anything in it is dead matter....but I don't need it. It's free if you come get it. I have about half a 5g bucket and about 1/3 of a 55g drum.

Engloid- THANKS very much for the offer. I've already bought the sand... Thank you for the offer though.

I ordered from Billy's Reef Connection. Despite their FL location, they shipped prior to any shutdown. Thanks to all for the recommendations and offers. I'll keep you guys informed as the build comes together.

Thanks. Looking for live. I was hoping I wouldn't have to waste almost a whole bag.

Cycle is coming along nicely. I transferred 2 large Duncan and Frogspawn colonies along with an Ocellaris Clown, a large Green Chromis, and my tiger pistol shrimp. About a week later, I added 10 Green Chromis and a Zebra Dart Fish. Now, we're waiting on the ecosystem to start adding corals. Thanks very much for the help and advice on the forum.

How much do you have? and what is the size? asking price?

I have about 40+ pounds, a mix of small to medium size grain. It's been rinsed and is sitting in fresh salt water. I also have more that has not been rinsed yet. I would ask $1 a pound.
